Pussycat Doll front woman and “Dancing with the Stars” Season 10 champ Nicole Scherzinger is dating racecar driver Lewis Hamilton – but she admits to having a girl crush on big screen leading lady Halle Berry.
“She’s just naturally gorgeous,” Nicole told Maxim in its July issue (on newsstands in LA and New York on June 15 and nationwide on June 22), when asked which fellow woman celebrity she fancies.
“I love her smile,” she said of the Oscar winning actress. “Wait, I sound like a dude; I’ve got to snap out of it!”
As far as her life at home with Lewis, when it comes to music that her boyfriend can play to put Nicole in the mood, she said she likes “Massive Attack, Marvin Gaye, Robin Thicke, or Prince.” The 31-year-old singer added that she prefers a night in with her beau versus hitting the club.
“Honestly, I don’t really do the ‘go out’ thing. If I want to get really crazy, I have game night,” she explained. “Bring over Balderdash, some Robin Thicke, a bottle of vino, and it’s on.”
She might prefer keeping a low profile – but according to Nicole (who was ranked 24th in the mag’s 2010 Hot 100 list), it’s nearly impossible to go incognito while with her boyfriend – even when she’s in remote areas.
“We went to South Africa and saw this head of a tribe wearing an animal he had just killed or something. He was like, ‘Ahhh! Are you Nicole Scherzinger?’ I was like, are you kidding me? How do you know my name? And hearing this German name come out of him – it was amazing!” she told the mag.
In Pussycat Dolls news, she said despite a few group shakeups – she’s still head kitty!
“A couple of the girls have left the group, but I’m still the lead singer, and I’m still working on music right now,” she explained. “I think the next single will be under my name.”
