‘Night At The Museum’ Tops Box Office For Third Week

Another big weekend at the box office for “Night at the Museum.”

The Ben Stiller comedy took in 24 million-dollars to stay on top for the third-straight weekend. “The Pursuit of Happyness,” starring Will Smith, was second again, bringing in 13 (m) million.

“Children of Men” was number three, in its first week of wide release. The thriller debuted in a handful of theaters over Christmas.

New movies this weekend did not open strongly. “Freedom Writers,” starring Hilary Swank, came in at number four. The animated fairy-tale farce “Happily N’Ever After” was sixth, and Cedric the Entertainer’s “Code Name: The Cleaner” didn’t make the top ten.
