NPR Producers Latest To Pay Tribute To Gaga’s ‘Telephone’

Everyone wants to be Lady Gaga.

The latest to pay tribute to the superstar’s “Telephone” video are the producers of National Public Radio, who released their own lip dub clip of the hit song on Thursday.

“I was inspired by the 82nd Airborne’s version of ‘Telephone,’ so I made an NPR spoof. If you like Robert Siegel and Nina Totenberg, you’re gonna love this,” “All Things Considered” producer Shereen Marisol Meraji wrote.

Meraji referred to a previous clip for the song made by Army soldiers in the 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan that earned over 3.7 million views after hitting YouTube and going viral in April.

Gaga’s own video, which also features Beyonce, has earned a number of parodies and fan videos on YouTube – as well as over 60 million views total on YouTube and Vevo for two versions of the original reel.
