Olympian Kerri Walsh Jennings & Husband Welcome Baby Girl

Volleyball star Kerri Walsh Jennings has welcomed her third child!

The Olympian, who has three gold medals and two sons, gave birth to a baby girl, Scout Margery Jennings, on Saturday.

“She’s here! She’s here! She’s here! Our precious baby girl is finally here! Scout Margery Jennings is as beautiful as can be,” the elated mom, 34, posted on her Facebook page on Saturday. “She came in like lightening and is all ready a beautiful rainbow 😉 so pink & lovely & healthy ♥”

The athlete also thanked fans for their well-wishes.

“Thank you all so very much, with all my heart, for your love, support & prayers,” she wrote. “I can’t tell you how much it means to me & how very much it helped. Wishing you all a wonderful, blessed day as this day certainly is for us.”

Little Scout joins big brothers Joey, 3 and 2-year-old Sundance.

Kerri was pregnant with Scout while she and partner Misty May-Treanor went for the gold at London’s 2012 Summer Olympics.

During an August 2012 appearance on Access Hollywood Live, Kerri revealed she and her husband, fellow volleyball star Casey Jennings, were looking to “expand” their family.

“I feel like I’ve been resisting nature the past two years because I wanted to get pregnant so bad and my body’s been yelling at me, but I had this goal as well — to win gold in London — and you know, now it’s time to go,” she told Billy Bush and Kit Hoover at the time. “It’s go time!”
