One Direction Excited To Be In ‘A Few Skits’ On ‘Saturday Night Live’

One Direction returns to “Saturday Night Live” this weekend and the boys will be getting in on the skit action with host Amy Adams.

“It’s definitely good to be back and this time we’re getting a little bit more involved,” Niall Horan told Access Hollywood. “They’re putting us in a few skits, and it’s gonna be quite fun. We just rehearsed one now with Amy and it’s going to be a good time.”

Harry Styles said taking a great role in the show – beyond serving as “SNL’s” musical guest – is exciting for the boys.

“It’s fun,” he said. “It’s definitely fun. I think the show’s so amazing that for them to ask us to be more involved is wicked.”

Asked who has the best comedic chops of the group, Liam Payne said that honor belongs to Louis Tomlinson.

As for those musical numbers, Zayn Malik promised that one of the numbers the group will perform is “Night Changes.”

While they band are in New York, Liam said he is hoping to enjoy some off the sights, including checking out the tree in Rockefeller Center.

“I want to go and do that, and I’d like to do some ice skating again as well. I’m not very good at ice skating, but I’ll give it a whirl,” he said.
