One Direction Talks Possible Solo Careers, Taylor Swift & David Beckham Comparisons

One Direction is enjoying massive success on the charts and they’ll soon take on the box office with a new tour documentary – but would any of the guys ever think of leaving the group? Plus, they talk famous exes and comparisons to soccer legends.

Access Hollywood caught up with Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson at the junket for their movie, “One Direction: This Is Us,” and here’s what the 1D guys had to say:

On who will go solo first: “Definitely Niall,” Louis said.

On the comparison that made Liam turn red in the face: “A newspaper wrote the other day that Liam looked like young David Beckham,” Niall said. An embarrassed Liam responded, “I’m actually blushing.”

On their fan frenzy being likened to The Beatles and The Rolling Stones: “That’s a crazy comparison. I think it’s cool, I think it’s amazing that you could jog that comparison,” Zayn said. “We just, we’re just having fun. We just want to keep having fun and if we’re still having fun in 20 years, then we’ll still be here regardless.”

On what Harry would say to Taylor Swift: “You write really good songs,” Harry said.

On why Harry always needs to make sure he’s wearing underwear: “I got my pants pulled down [while filming our movie.] I was just really happy my underwear didn’t come down as well,” The singer, who many say resembles a young Mick Jagger, told Access.

1D’s new documentary film, “One Direction: This Is Us” will hit U.S. theaters on August 30.
