One of One Direction’s members is headed down the aisle!
Zayn Malik, 20, is engaged, according to girlfriend Perrie Edward’s mom.
Perrie’s mom confirmed the engagement news to Britain’s Real Radio after rumors began swirling after Perrie, 19, was spotted rocking a what appeared to be an engagement ring.

“Yes it is, it’s true,” Perrie’s mom, Debbie, said during the interview. “They got engaged on Sunday and it was absolutely lovely.”
And Debbie sounds over the moon about her daughter, who is a member of British girl group Little Mix, marrying the 1D member.

“It’s wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous. Perrie loves him to pieces and it’s perfect,” she said. “They get on so well together and understand each other. It’s just fabulous. He did the traditional asking me and then asking his mum and dad.”
