Oprah Winfrey Reveals One Of Her Biggest Fears!

If you’re ever invited to Oprah Winfrey’s birthday, don’t bring the balloons!

The talk show great has revealed one of her greatest fears in a new video promoting the October issue of O Magazine.

“I really don’t like balloons, I don’t like balloons!” she said, while discussing her fear of speaking at the Harvard graduation in May.

During an experience 19 years ago, Oprah was forced to face her fear head on, something which has helped her conquer other challenging areas of her life.

“For my 40th birthday, my entire staff decided to surprise me,” Oprah, now 59, recalled. “I come downstairs and the entire audience is filled with balloons. Literally, I’m stepping over balloons, having to walk through balloons and I’m so, like, ‘Oh! When is one going to pop?’

“It was an anxiety-filled day, I don’t like them because it reminds me of gunfire,” Oprah continued. “It just really freaks me out.”

The TV great’s birthday brush with balloons inspired her to literally keep on moving.

“There are a few things that in life, if you allow them to, can really keep you from moving forward,” she said. “You have to really walk through it.”
