“Outlander” has another new cast member.

Actor Stanley Weber is the newest name to emerge as a part of the “Outlander” Season 2 cast. Stanley (an alum of “The Hollow Crown”) is playing Comte St. Germain, according to E! News, which broke the story on Tuesday.

“It’s official…already in #Scotland shooting season 2 of @Outlander_Starz . So STOKED. Really,” Stanley Tweeted, after news of his casting hit the web.

The Comte is a nobleman who Claire and Jamie encounter very early on in “Dragonfly in Amber,” the second book in author Diana Gabaldon’s “Outlander” novels. He is described in “DIA” as “a slender, elegant sort, with heavy brows and thin lips.”

“New Project… New Face… Hello Scotland #Glasgow,” Stanley wrote on Twitter. (“Outlander’s” production hub is based near Glasgow.)

Weber’s character is the rival to one played by Robert Cavanah, who Access Hollywood exclusively revealed on Tuesday is playing Jamie Fraser’s cousin, Jared.

So far though, no word on Roger or Bree. spoke to Executive Producer Ronald D. Moore at the end of May, those roles had not yet been cast.

“I know that the two cast members everybody asks about – Brianna and Roger – have not been cast,” he said, at the time. “And there’s no hurry on it because the way we shoot these things obviously is out of sequence and we shoot them according to the needs of production and air date. … People are like, ‘Haven’t you cast those?’ And it’s like, ‘Well, no, but don’t worry about it.'”
