“Outlander” fans, meet your Jamie Fraser.
On Thursday night, Starz unveiled the first look at actor Sam Heughan in his kilt as the Scottish 18th century hunk.
Production on the show, from Starz and Sony Pictures Television, and based on Diana Gabaldon’s best-selling book series, is currently underway in Scotland. Ronald D. Moore (“Battlestar Galactic”) is “Outlander’s” executive producer.
Season 1 of the series, set to debut sometime in 2014 on Starz, follows the journey of Claire (Beauchamp) Randall (played by Caitriona Balfe), a World War II combat nurse, who is mysteriously swept back in time, and away from her husband Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies).
She quickly crosses paths with the enigmatic Jamie, and the MacKenzie clan
