Owen Wilson, Christina Applegate & Alyssa Milano Pontificate On Parenting At ‘Hall Pass’ Premiere

While they may play bored, burned-out spouses in the Farrelly Brothers’ latest comedy, “Hall Pass,” Owen Wilson and Christina Applegate couldn’t be happier with their latest real-life adventure – parenthood!

“Yes, I am enjoying being a dad,” Owen Wilson told Access at the film’s premiere in LA on Wednesday. “Even stuff that I thought like, ‘I don’t know how I’m gonna feel about like, diapers,’ those sort of things, I just jumped right in! No problem. I’ve got a little system down – I just knock it out.

“[Feeding] is more the mom’s department,” he continued. “I guess my job is to put food on the table for this little baby, so, that’s why I’m here tonight.”

Christina Applegate, who plays the frustrated wife of Jason Sudeikis’ character in the film, gave birth to a baby girl, Sadie Grace, on January 27 and is ecstatic about her new addition.

“I love motherhood,” Christina told Access, beaming. “In fact, I can’t wait to leave from this conversation here and go home to her! She’s a month old tomorrow, so I’m watching her change and grow everyday and it’s remarkable.”

The glowing new mom said Sadie is helping her overcome the aftermath of undergoing a double mastectomy in 2008 due to breast cancer.

“It’s not about insecurities so much as a place on your body that is not yours anymore,” she told Access. “You don’t have that kind of relationship that you used to because it’s, you know, no longer a part of you. It’s an amputation – it’s gone.

“But [my chest] is [Sadie’s] favorite place to be,” she continued. “And it’s opened that part of me up again where I think I closed.”

“Hall Pass” actress Alyssa Milano is also about the join the parenting club, having just announced her pregnancy via Twitter on Tuesday.

“I’m in my second trimester,” Alyssa told Access. “I haven’t really had crazy cravings. The only weird thing is I haven’t had that sweet tooth thing that most people talk about – and I had a sweet tooth before I was pregnant, so that’s kind of weird.”

The former “Charmed” star, who will find out the sex of her baby “in a few weeks,” did admit to having one peculiarly healthy craving though – broccoli.

“I’ve been eating a lot of broccoli – love broccoli,” she laughed “This baby loves broccoli, which is great.”

Catch Owen, Christina and Alyssa — along with “The Office” star Jenna Fischer and “Saturday Night Live” funnyman Jason Sudeikis — in “Hall Pass” when it hits theaters on Friday.
