The holidays certainly have a way of making people nostalgic – even Paris Hilton.
The heiress posted a photo on TwitPic of sister Nicky and herself, as kids, playing on a Hawaiian beach.
“In Maui on the beach with @NickyHilton when we were little girls. Memories :)” Paris Tweeted.
Paris is spending some time in Hawaii with her family. “Just had a lovely dinner with my whole family. Had the macadamia covered mahi mahi. So delicious! So nice to have the entire family together,” she posted to her Twitter account.
This trip to the Hawaiian islands, however, has been eventful already for the socialite. A passenger found a knife on her jetliner, and all 203 passengers were forced to deplane while security checked the aircraft. Paris was on board with current boyfriend Cy Waits.
Paris Tweeted, “security made everyone deplane because they found a big knife.” Then, she added, “Scary that it got on plane” and “So strange a knife got on board.”
Delta spokeswoman Susan Elliott says it was a catering knife accidentally left behind by the cabin crew and the search was a precaution. The flight was delayed about an hour.
After the plane finally took off, it was a smooth flight.
“Just landed safely in Maui. Aloha!” Paris notified her concerned fans through Twitter. “Hawaii is one of the most beautiful places on earth! So happy to be here! :)” she added.
