Paris’ Release From Jail Imminent

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (June 25, 2007) – After more than three weeks in jail, Paris will be set free sometime after midnight tonight.

Midnight madness is set to ensue outside the detention center and her Hollywood Hills home. Hilton is eligible for release once the stroke of 12 hits.

Paris’ next stop? To the spotlight of course with “Larry King Live,” landing her first post-incarceration interview Wednesday.

“Sicko” filmmaker Michael Moore was bumped in what was a last minute deal with King, this after both ABC and NBC passed on Paris.

Meredith Vieira and Barbara Walters were both thought to be in the running for the interview before the deals fell through. Reportedly the Hiltons wanted $1 million dollars for their daughter on-screen. Walters, who made the call to walk away, released this statement saying, “ …when all that pay-for-play stuff happened, I suddenly felt this was not up to my standard. It … felt … sort of … tawdry.”

As for Paris’ philanthropic plans? In a conversation with Ryan Seacrest, Paris proclaimed she was going to build a transitional home to help break the cycle of her fellow inmates from returning to jail.
