Paul Rudd, Tracy Morgan & Zach Galifianakis Laugh It Up For GQ

Paul Rudd, Tracy Morgan and Zach Galifianakis know funny – and the three comedians sat down with GQ for the mag’s August Comedy Issue to talk about their favorite comedies, their “Tonight Show” loyalties and tips for improving the Oscars.

“I’m gonna go with ‘Talladega Nights,’” Tracy said of the funniest recent film.

“‘The Piano,’” Paul joked. “One or two more fart jokes would do it.”

It’s not just the movies that get the actors laughing – they also shared their favorite TV shows.

“‘Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!,’” that’s really funny,” Paul told the mag.

“I think if they put a laugh track on ‘Intervention,’ it would be funny,” Zach added.

However, Zach said there’s one real-life surprise that gets him rolling on the floor.

“Horns in general,” he said. “For some reason, I can’t keep it together when I hear trumpets at a wedding. I have to leave the wedding.”

The group also weighed in on the shake-ups in late night, giving their suggestions for “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” with Jay back as host.

“Hire Conan [O’Brien],” Paul said, showing his Team Coco loyalty.

“A Russian bear on a bike. Riding around Christopher Cross as he sings ‘Sailing,’” Tracy offered.

They also gave some Oscar advice, telling the mag who the annual awards show should hire to host the show.

“Zach!” Tracy said. “Let us host it and then let us do it the way they want to do it… I’m going blue every chance I get.”

The “30 Rock” star added that no woman would be safe if he got the hosting gig – not even Meryl Streep.

“Oh, that’s my baby. Somebody getting pregnant, man,” Tracy said. “I’m coming out with my zipper down.”
