Steady yourselves, “Penny Dreadful” Season 2 has a new premiere date.
The spooky and stylish Showtime drama from creator John Logan, returns on Sunday, May 3 at 10 PM ET/PT, the network announced on Friday.
Bonds will deepen between Vanessa (Eva Green) and the boys — Ethan (Josh Hartnett), Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton), Sembene (Danny Sapani) and Dr. Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway) — in Season 2, as they fight evil forces again.

Other drama will ensue for the Creature (Rory Kinnear), Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney) and Brona (Bille Piper), who was reanimated by Dr. Frankenstein, following her death at the end of Season 1.
Season 2 will feature a heavier dose of Helen McCrory, who made her debut last season as Evelyn Poole. Patti LuPone will guest star, however, her character name is being kept mysterious.

Originally, Season 2 was going to premiere on April 26.
