Pharrell Williams & Oprah Share A ‘Happy’ Cry

Pharrell Williams is very happy about the success of his hit Oscar-nominated song, “Happy,” so happy – he’s crying about it!

During an April 13 interview on “Oprah Prime,” Lady O had the guy with Hollywood’s most talked about hat turning on the waterworks after she showed the seven-time Grammy winner clips of fan-made “Happy” videos.

“Makes me cry too!” Oprah said, rubbing his arm.

“Why am I crying on Oprah?” Pharrell, in his signature Vivienne Westwood hat, said.

“It’s overwhelming because I love what I do and I just appreciate the fact that people have believed in me for so long that I could make it to this point, to feel that,” he explained.

“I get it,” Oprah added. “I really get it.”
