Pink Confirms Pregnancy On ‘Ellen’: ‘I’m Eating For Two’

It’s official – pop star Pink and husband Carey Hart are expecting their first child, the singer confirmed to Ellen DeGeneres on Tuesday.

In a sit down interview to promote the release of her new album, “Greatest Hits… So Far!!!” for Wednesday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Pink finally put the rumors to rest.

“Seriously, why do you think you’re glowing?” Ellen asked the pretty pop star.

“Oh, so many reasons,” Pink replied coyly. “That’s it? That’s the question?”

“That’s it,” Ellen said.

“I’m eating for two these days,” Pink said, providing her first confirmation that she is pregnant.

The singer went on to explain why she didn’t want to confirm her pregnancy news, despite the speculation in the media.

Just like many women, including pop star Mariah Carey (who also recently announced that she’s pregnant), Pink revealed that at one point, she tragically suffered a miscarriage.

“I didn’t want to talk about it because I was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before,” she said.

Pink said she isn’t sure about the sex of her baby, but her doctor has an inkling Pink, will be decorating in, well… pink!

“I don’t think I want to know [the baby’s sex], but the doctor kind of told me what she thinks. I’m terrified because she thinks it’s a girl,” Pink said.

“You’re going to get payback? Is that what you’re worried about?” Ellen asked Pink, referring to her tumultuous teen years.

“My mom has always wished me a daughter just like me. I’m terrified one of us will go to jail,” she laughed.

Pink also confirmed that things with husband Carey are going strong.

“Better than ever,” she said.

“Do you feel like you needed time apart?” Ellen asked, referring to the couple’s split in 2008.

“I do. I never had anything in my life that I didn’t work hard for and my relationship is that,” she said. “We worked really hard and we had our little meltdowns, a couple of them, and now, we’re honestly, we both needed to do that and come back together. It’s just yummy.”
