Pink Speaks Up About Young Hollywood & Animal Cruelty

“Vulturous.”

Pop singer Pink may have found the perfect adjective to describe the madness that constantly surrounds Young Hollywood.

“I feel like something tragic is going to have to happen for people to wake up and see how vulturous and poisonous its all gotten,” Pink told Access Hollywood during a recent interview.

“I can’t imagine having to screw up in front of the world,” Pink said. “I screwed up in front of my family. I got kicked out of my house when I was 15. I am a high school drop out, I went through that. (And) I got to learn my mistakes from myself, I didn’t have a reporter trying to teach me my lessons.”

“Stupid Girls” was Pink’s 2006 dis-of-sorts to the most famous — or infamous — of young Hollywood starlets.

Despite the scrutiny surrounding the state of her marriage to race cross driver Carey Hart, Pink says the paparazzi mostly stay away from her.

But now, for a good cause, Pink is hoping for plenty of exposure.

In the middle of Times Square, she now has a billboard that reads: “Buck Cruelty.”

Banning horse-drawn carriage rides in New York City. That is what Pink, and Peta, are talking about.

“You can step back and watch for a minute watch how the horses are treated,” Pink says. “Watch their ribs sticking out, watch them frothing at the mouth.”
