Pink Undergoes Surgery To Remove Gallbladder

Pink’s gallbladder is not “Perfect.”

The singer had her gallbladder removed this week following a nasty bout with stomach flu-like symptoms.

The new mom, 32, took to Twitter to wish her errant organ goodbye after illness forced her to celebrate daughter Willow’s first birthday from inside a hospital room, and bow out of a performance for President Obama.

“Thanks family 4 bringing my lil girls party to the hospital all weekend for me. I spose it doesn’t matter where u r when u eat ur 1st cake!” she Tweeted on Sunday. “Oh and p.s….. F YOU gall bladder! SAYONARA!!!!!!!!!!!!

“So now I’ve let down my daughter and the President,” she later added. “Wow. Great week.”

Following the surgery, a rep for the singer told E! News that Pink is now “out of the hospital and recovering nicely.”

A few days prior to her surgery, Pink shared a photo of herself in a hospital gown, hooked up to an IV.

“Maybe it’s cause my mom was an ER nurse all my life- but throw me in a gown and a hook me up to an IV- and I’m a happy girl. Stomach flu sucks but morphine doesn’t,” she Tweeted last Thursday, along with the photo, before adding, “Thanks for all the get well wishes. And no-they don’t give morphine for flu. I might have ulcers again. Because I care too much. It’s a gift.”
