Everyone’s favorite Bellas are officially back!
Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson have officially signed on to reprise their roles in “Pitch Perfect 2,” Universal Pictures announced on Thursday.
Kendrick will return to play Beca, while Wilson will bring Fat Amy back to the big screen.
As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Elizabeth Banks, who starred in and produced the first movie, will serve as director for the sequel.
“I’m really excited to be involved as a director on a project that I hold very close to my heart and really love. I think the first film captured so much fun and joy and amazing characters and we’re going to try and build on that the second time around,” Banks told Access Hollywood earlier this month at the premiere for “The Lego Movie.”
Writer Kay Cannon will also return to pen the second film.
The original “Pitch Perfect: grossed more than $115 million worldwide during its release in 2013.
“Pitch Perfect 2” will hit theaters on May 15, 2015.
