Police Report: Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller’s Fight Sparked By Train Song

Five days after walking out of a Colorado courtroom where Charlie Sheen pled guilty to a misdemeanor third-degree assault count in exchange for dropping a felony charge that could have meant serious jail time for the actor, a police report from his Christmas day fight with wife Brooke Mueller has been released. According to the actor, the fight started over Sheen and one of his daughter’s shared love of astronomy and the Train song, “Drops of Jupiter.”

According to the police report obtained by Access Hollywood, Sheen told authorities his argument with his wife started after she threatened to divorce him and take their children (twins Bob and Max) with her, adding that the catalyst for the fight was the sharing of the Train hit with one of his daughters.

“You have a song you share with your daughter, but not one with me,” Sheen claimed Mueller said, referring to the 2001 pop song.

Also in the report, responding officers said they observed red marks on Mueller’s neck, consistent with a strangulation attempt. Mueller told police Sheen held her down on the bed, started to strangle her and held a knife to her throat for 20 minutes, and according to Mueller, said, “If you tell anybody, I’ll kill you.” Sheen denied choking or holding a knife to her throat.

Also in the police reported, it was noted that there were two sober-living coaches in the house during incident. The report also claims it was not the first violent confrontation between the husband and wife.

According to Sheen, two months earlier Mueller accused him of sleeping with prostitutes, which lead to a previous fight between the couple. Sheen claimed he grabbed his wife by the wrist and she fell, hitting her head on a piece of furniture. Mueller claimed the actor threw her to the ground “like a rag doll,” causing a closed head injury that required medical treatment. Mueller did not report the incident to authorities.

In related Sheen news, the actor was spotted at The Playboy Mansion over the weekend partying with Jamie Foxx, Buzz Aldrin and Hugh Hefner’s sons at Hef’s Midsummer Night’s Dream soiree.

When contacted by Access Hollywood, a rep for Sheen would not comment.
