President Obama’s Twitter Account: No ‘House Of Cards’ Spoilers

“House of Cards” returns to Netflix on Friday for Season 2, and it appears POTUS may be urging people to be sensitive in their storyline related Tweets.

“Tomorrow: @HouseOfCards. No spoilers, please,” was the message Tweeted on Thursday afternoon from @BarackObama on Twitter.

It should be noted that Tweets from the President usually contain his initials at the end, but with the President already an admitted “Homeland” fan, it wouldn’t be a surprise to find out he watches “House of Cards” too.

“House of Cards” creator Beau Willimon was impressed by the Tweet.

On Friday, fans of the celebrated drama will be able to find out what’s next for Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and his wife, Claire (Golden Globe winner Robin Wright), now that they’ve moved up, politically, in the world.

At the recent junket for “House of Cards” Season 2, Kevin told Access Hollywood that he has had political figures tell him his show seems true to life.

“I’ve had some pretty well known figures say, ‘It’s closer than anyone could possibly imagine,’ at how real the series is about how it really works, and [others] who have said, ‘It’s the most cynical display of being against what government can do,’” Kevin told Access.

“But I do know this — they’re all watching,” he added with a laugh.
