Prince Harry Posts First Tweet

#PrinceHarry FTW!

Prince Harry is the latest member of the Royal Family to join Twitter. The 29-year-old sent his first ever Tweet on Thursday in support of the Invictus Games, a sporting event for wounded soldiers.

“Hope everyone will get behind #invictusgames. Great opportunity to support and thank the men and women who have given so much. Harry,” he said in his inaugural post.

But Harry found using an iPad a bit challenging. While slowly typing his first Tweet, one of the event hosts asked, “Are you clear how to do it, sir?,” causing the crowd on hand to laugh.

“This is why I joined the army – I can’t type properly,” he joked with the crowd.

No word if Prince Harry will establish his own social media presence and create his own account. If he does join Twitter for himself, he’ll be able to tag fellow Royals Prince Andrew (@TheDukeofYork), Queen Elizabeth II (represented by @BritishMonarchy), and Prince Charles who Tweets from the @ClarenceHouse from time to time.
