Queen Elizabeth Visits ‘Game Of Thrones’ Set With Cast

Queen Elizabeth journeyed to Westeros on Tuesday!

HBO’s “Game of Thrones” was visited by true royalty when the Queen toured the show’s Belfast set as part of her Northern Ireland tour.

Her Majesty got within feet of the show’s famed throne, but unfortunately, she did not sit on the coveted seat, but did gaze upon it with wonder.

The official British Monarchy government captured the moment on Instagram with a shot of Queen Elizabeth on the set and the caption, “The #IronThrone as you’ve never seen it before…”

Many cast members from the HBO series were on hand to greet the Queen, including Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) – along with show co-creators and executive producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss.
