Rachel Bilson & Kaitlin Doubleday Join ‘Nashville’

Rachel Bilson and Kaitlin Doubleday have joined the cast of
CMT’s “Nashville.”

“Hart of Dixie”
alum Rachel announced the news on her Instagram account on Thursday, posting a photo of a sign on a door reading
“Highway 65 Records.”

“Music city, here I come,” Rachel wrote in the
photo’s caption.

Kaitlin (“Empire”) posted a photo of The Bluebird Café on her Insta, writing, “This will definitely be a change of pace.”

“We welcome Rachel and Kaitlin into our incredibly talented ensemble,” Marshall Herskovitz, executive producer and showrunner, said in a statement. “We fondly anticipate the second half of the season filled with surprising twists and turns that make ‘Nashville’ so beloved by the fans.”

CMT
also released a teaser for the second half of the season, which will see
Juliette Barnes (Hayden Panettiere) return to the stage, and Scarlett and
Gunner appearing to read DNA results about her baby on the way.
