‘Real Housewives of New Jersey’ Gettin’ Zilch? Bravo Says ‘Not True’

It’s a good thing the stars of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” are already wealthy, because the table-flipping ladies of Franklin Lakes are reportedly not being paid for starring on their reality show – a claim Bravo has denied to Access Hollywood.

According to a contract obtained by Popsquire and allegedly signed by one undisclosed “Housewife,” Bravo is reportedly not required to pay the ladies.

Besides not making any money from their time on the show, the contract also states that they are to pay Bravo 10 percent of, “any and all gross income…unrelated to the Series” that is made for a period of four years after the show ends.

The alleged contract also goes on to detail what fans won’t be seeing on the reality docu-drama.

The document says that “(i) showering/bathing, (ii) urination/defecation, and (iii) engaging in actual sexually explicit conduct” will not be filmed without prior approval from the cast members.

However, Bravo tells Access that this is not true.

“Rest assured that Bravo’s ‘Housewives’ are all financially compensated for their participation,” a rep for the cable channel told Access. “We only wish they would do it free.”

Bravo has yet to announce if “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” will return for a second season.
