‘Real Housewives Of New York City’s’ Ramona Singer Splits From Husband: ‘I Tried My Best’

After blasting Bravo’s Andy Cohen during “The Real Housewives of New York City” reunion special for asking about the state of her relationship with husband, Ramona Singer has now announced she’s splitting with Mario.

“I have decided to move on with my life without Mario,” the reality star Tweeted on Thursday.

“I tried my best to make my marriage work. I am excited for the new chapter in my life,” she continued.

During the show’s reunion special, Ramona went on the offensive when asked about her marriage of more than 20 years.

“Everyone in my family is doing well,” she said. “Mario and I are together. … Let’s go to someone else.”

When Andy pressed, Ramona attempted to flip the subject back on the host.

“So, how’s your love life? Who are you going to have sex with tonight? Tell me,” she snapped during the taping

“I’ll tell you when I go on a reality show,” Andy responded.

Later in the reunion, Ramona was asked about her co-stars and whether they had been supportive of her during her relationship woes.

“I’m not talking about this anymore. This is a personal matter. I want this closed down,” she said. “I’m my own person. I’m a great person. I have my life. I have myself and whatever will be, will be.”

Fellow “Housewife” LuAnn de Lesseps, who Ramona went after in a previous season, questioning LuAnn’s marriage, chimed in with, “It’s hard when your other half cheats on you, Ramona.

“Don’t even go there!” Ramona screamed. “I want this closed down! Stop it, Andy. I don’t want to talk about it.”

On Thursday, Bravo Tweeted some love to Ramona, writing, “Sending love and support to the lovely @ramonasinger! Stay strong! #newchapter”

Ramona and Mario have one daughter together, Avery, 19.
