‘The Real Housewives of New York City’ are always on the run – juggling work, family and the demands of being a sought-after socialite. Now the five women – Countess LuAnn de Lesseps, Bethenny Frankel, Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Alex McCord, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin – can add “fashion designer” and “author” to add to their repertoires.
Bravo announced that production has now begun on Season 3 of the hit reality series, which is set to air sometime in 2010. Moreover, the cable network will partner with apparel maker Royal Plush to design a line of clothing and accessories inspired by the lovely ladies of the Big Apple. The line will include lounge wear, active wear and handbags and is set to debut at specialty boutiques this fall.

Their new book, “The Real Housewives Get Personal,” will divulge secrets never shared on-screen from plastic surgery to intimate stories regarding love, life and the show.
