‘Real Housewives’ Star Ramona Singer Splits With Husband Amid Cheating Rumors

“The Real Housewives of New York City’s” Ramona Singer is reportedly in the midst of a real-life storyline that could be ripped from an episode of her Bravo series.

According to numerous reports, Ramona and her husband of 27 years, Mario Singer, have split.

E! News reported that they have called it quits and Mario has been dating another woman – reportedly 27-year-old Kasey Dexter — for more than a year.

“They are separated,” a source close to the Bravo star said. “[The split] literally happened within the last few days.”

But the drama doesn’t stop there! People reported that Ramona, 56, caught Mario, 60, with his new woman at their Hamptons’ home last weekend.

“She saw him there with the girlfriend and made a big scene and called the police,” the People source said.

But despite the alleged cheating, Ramona reportedly does not want to make the split official.

“She did not want a divorce. Ramona loves her life. She loves Mario,” People’s source added.

And it wouldn’t be a “Real Housewives” story without some freely-offered commentary from a former co-star. Enter Jill Zarin, who was let go from the Bravo series in 2011.

“Ramona has been protecting him,” Jill told the mag. “She looked the other way when people told her he was cheating.”

On Wednesday, Ramona took to Twitter, asking for privacy, but did not acknowledge or confirm any of the reports.

“Thank you all for the love & support! For my daughter’s sake, I would appreciate everyone respecting our privacy during this difficult time,” she wrote.

She then posted an inspirational quote, “Look for something positive about today. Even if you have to look a little harder than usual, it still exists.”

No word if any of the reported drama will be included in the upcoming Season 6 of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” which debuts on March 11 on Bravo.
