Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O’Connell have two new additions to the family, the couple welcomed twin girls just before the New Year, Access Hollywood has learned.
“Rebecca gave birth on December 28 to two healthy daughters, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip,” rep for the actress told Access.
“Mother, father and both girls are all home and doing well,” the rep added.
In July 2008, Jerry gushed about the possibility of becoming a father to Us Weekly saying, “It would be amazing if it happened. I hope it does happen!”
The actor meet Rebecca in 2004 at a party and proposed just a year later. They married in July 2007.
Rebecca, who most recently starred on ABC’s “Ugly Betty,” asked to be written off for most of this season of the comedy in order to focus on her impending first-time motherhood.
The twins are the couple’s first children.
