Last night’s season premiere of “The Hills” featured the makings of another high-ratings hit, serving up rounds of romance, drama, cat fights, and tears.
After watching Lauren Conrad strike out in love with Jason and more recently Brody Jenner, a new romance is in the works for Conrad with Doug, an old friend from her high school years. The romance may be short-lived, however, with teases of future episodes hinting that Spencer’s sister, Stephanie Pratt, may stir up trouble for the new couple.
“The Hills” house is far from a haven to the drama, with Lauren in the middle of tension between Lo and Audrina.
In an attempt to clear the air, Lauren decides to throw Audrina a barbeque for her 24th birthday. Lo, however, did not feel comfortable with Audrina’s crowd, and disappeared in her room to play with the dog.
While Doug asked Lauren out on another date, Lo approached Audrina in an attempt to hash things out. The discussion went poorly, with Audrina telling Lo, “We’ll never be friends,” kicking off the drama-filled new season of “The Hills.”
