Renee Zellweger Slams Anorexia Rumors: Going To The Gym Keeps Me Sane!

Renee Zellweger works out to keep her body and mind in good shape.

The 44-year-old actress, whose weight has been scrutinized over the years, is speaking out about rumors that she’s too thin.

“When you read reports that you are starving yourself or that you are anorexic, it’s very unfair and disappointing,” she told the UK’s Daily Express.

“It’s not very pleasant to read reports which say you’ve gone too far or this or that,” she continued.

The actress famously gained and lost weight for her roles in 2001’s “Bridget Jones’ Diary” and the 2004 sequel, “Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason.”

As for her gym routine, the actress told the paper it helps keep her mind in check.

“I have a lifestyle that involves keeping my sanity by going to the gym,” she explained.

With the release of a third book in the series last month, “Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy,” Renee’s weight could be changing once again.
