Gary Busey’s 1-year-old son, Luke Busey, has been hospitalized in Los Angeles, Calif., Access Hollywood has confirmed.
“Luke Busey, one year-old son of Steffanie Sampson and Gary Busey is being treated for a childhood illness at Cedars Sinai and is expected to be going home by the end of the week,” a rep for the actor said in a statement released to Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “Gary is very grateful to his fans for their love and support. Gary and Steffanie thank everyone for their prayers and get well wishes for Luke.”
Luke is Gary’s only child with fiance Steffanie Sampson.
The actor also has a 39-year-old son, Jake Busey, with ex-wife Judy Helkenberg, and a daughter – Alectra “Ellie” Busey —from a prior relationship.
In related news, Gary became the latest star to get the boardroom axe on Donald Trump’s “The Celebrity Apprentice” — the 66-year-old former “The Buddy Holly Story” star was “fired” from the show during Sunday night’s episode.
