Rep: Mariah Carey Is ‘Not Pregnant’

Mariah Carey may not be as stick thin as some of the women in Hollywood, but don’t confuse curvy for pregnant.

Despite the rumors, the singer’s rep told Access Hollywood she is “not pregnant.”

While Mimi may not be gearing up to be a mom right now, she credited her husband, “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon, with helping her get toward a place where having children is a possibility.

“I’d want to be in a position to handle that as well as possible,” the star told USA Today last fall of the possibility of having children, adding she was also open to the idea of adopting.

It was marrying Nick in 2008 after a whirlwind romance that helped change her priorities.

“I wasted my time with stuff that wasn’t really real, in my personal life,” Mariah said. “I was always more focused on my career. But now I have this support system.”

In the meantime, the couple plans to walk down the aisle for a third time, this time on April 30.

“We get married every year! That’s our thing,” Nick previously told Us Weekly. “So it’s going to be our third wedding this year. That’s what we’ll be doing on the actual [anniversary]. We’ll do something — a party or event, just to celebrate.”
