Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds might be over, but according to the actress’ rep, she hasn’t started a new romance with Sean Penn.
Us Weekly reportedly Thursday that the 26-year-old actress started dating the 50-year-old actor in January, claiming they are in the midst of a “fling.”
However, Scarlett’s rep shot down this report.
“Scarlett and Sean are not dating – they have been friends for years. Nothing more, nothing less,” the actress’ rep said in a statement to Access Hollywood. “They have been talking over the last few months regarding Haiti Relief and Scarlett’s upcoming trip to Haiti as Oxfam’s Global Ambassador.”
A rep for Sean was not immediately available for comment when contacted by Access.
Scarlett and Ryan announced their split in December after three years of marriage.
