Report: E-mails Between Carrie Prejean & Miss California Director Surface

As the fallout continues over the dethroning of Carrie Prejean from her Miss California title, new e-mails — reportedly between the beauty queen and the Miss California pageant director — have surfaced.

On Wednesday, Prejean was stripped of her title due to what Miss California Executive Director Keith Lewis claimed were “contract violations including Ms. Prejean’s unwillingness to make appearances on behalf of the organization.” And now, e-mails purported to be between Prejean and Lewis appear to show tension in the relationship.

“I expect you to be forwarding me ALL email requests and interview requests to me. I know how you are and it’s not right if you are selecting things for me. Thanks for your cooperation,” Prejean allegedly wrote in an e-mail obtained by FOX News.

Lewis claimed Prejean’s firing happened after it became “abundantly clear” that the 22-year-old was “unwilling to fulfill her obligations” as decreed by her Miss California contract.

According to FOX News, in the alleged e-mails, sent prior to her dismissal, Prejean was asked to follow proper procedure related to events and allow them to be placed in a “master calendar.”

In another e-mail Prejean is reported to have said, “What are u gonna do fire me for volunteering for the special olympics hahaha ur crazy No I am doing this appearance. You do not need details. Its for the SPECIAL OLYMPICS!!! You just need to know I will be doing it alright.”

A rep for Prejean was not immediately available for comment. Meanwhile, a rep for Lewis confirmed the latter e-mail was real. As for the first e-mail, Lewis’ rep said he was in a meeting and unable to confirm at press time.
