Report: Poison Drummer Arrested On Rape Charge

Rikki Rockett, the drummer for legendary 80’s hair band Poison, was arrested on rape charges as he arrived at Los Angeles International Airport on a flight from New Zealand, according to The Los Angeles Daily News.

The felony warrant reportedly stemmed from charges in Neshoba County, Mississippi.

Specific details of the warrant were not immediately available.

The 46-year-old Rockett (whose real name is Richard Allan Ream) was booked in the Los Angeles County Jail on March 24, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department’s Web site.

He was released on March 25, according to the Web site.

Rockett rose to fame in the 1980s as the drummer of Poison, alongside lead singer Bret Michaels, who has since launched himself back into the spotlight with his VH1 reality series “Rock of Love.”
