Richard Marx & Cynthia Rhodes Split After 25-Year Marriage

Richard Marx and Cynthia Rhodes are calling it quits.

The “Right Here Waiting” singer, 50, has announced that he and Cynthia, 57, an actress (“Flashdance,” “Staying Alive,” “Dirty Dancing”), are getting a divorce, according to People.

Married for 25 years, the couple has been separated since July 2013, the mag reported.

The split announcement was initially revealed during Richard’s appearance on Friday’s episode of Katie Couric’s talk show, “Katie,” when she said to the “Hold On to the Nights” crooner, “Well, you’re back on the market — how are you feeling about dating?”

“It’s all brand new to me, so I’m just having fun,”he answered.

Richard and Cynthia first met in 1983 when she was playing John Travolta’s love interest in “Staying Alive,” and Richard was working on the film’s soundtrack.

They tied the knot in 1989 and have three sons together.
