Rob Kardashian Learning About Fred Astaire For His ‘Dancing’ Foxtrot

Rob Kardashian will tackle a Fred Astaire-inspired foxtrot on next week’s “Dancing with the Stars,” and the celebrity said he would feel a lot more confident about his number if he knew who the legend was.

“Do you know who Fred Astaire is?” Rob asked Access Hollywood Live’s Kit Hoover on Thursday during rehearsal, as he looked for someone else who lacked Fred knowledge. “I YouTubed him.”

Last week, Rob’s cha cha, with professional partner Cheryl Burke, kept the couple in the competition, and it had judge Carrie Ann Inaba proclaiming that was Rob was a better dancer than his sister, Kim Kardashian. But he’s put that compliment behind him and is focusing on their next number.

“Literally, I just want to focus on one dance at a time and I don’t care where my sister was. That’s her problem for not being able to dance that far,” he laughed. “But hopefully we’ll make it far in the competition.”

The single Rob said his family (no special ladies in his life, yet) would be back in the audience to cheer him on next week, said he’s been gaining confidence with each number.

“I feel like last week was just like the beginning of building some confidence into this competition,” he told Kit. “It’s very hard for me to be out there in front of so many people, just out there dancing.

“When you’re in front of 20 million people that don’t know your personality, or don’t know you personally, it’s hard to be yourself and then you gotta get into character and know your dance moves,” he added. “It’s very hard to do it live in front of so many people.”
