Robbie Amell is joining the cast of “The X-Files” as a guest star.
“The Flash” actor will play Agent Miller, described by the network as “smart and smooth.”
“Six Feet Under” alum Lauren Ambrose has also been lined up as a guest star, playing Agent Einstein, who is “sharp and confident.”

Robbie recently returned to film The CW’s “The Flash,” where he plays one-half of Firestorm, alongside Victor Garber.
Lauren recently starred in USA’s “Dig.”
Robbie and Lauren are the latest names to check in to “The X-Files” revival, which stars David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Mulder and Scully.

The six-episode season of “The X-Files” will premiere on January 24, 2016 on Fox.
