Robert Pattinson Reveals Tipsy Tiff With Adele

It’s hard to imagine Robert Pattinson and Adele engaged in a drunken tiff, but according to the actor, it happened.

“I had this argument with Adele, which is probably the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever said,” RPatz, 26, revealed during an interview on Canada’s “George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight” show on Thursday.

The war of words started when the “Twilight Saga” star felt the urge to encourage the Grammy Award-winning songstress by saying, “You know, you can really just reach for it!”

“[Adele] was like, ‘You do realize I’m, like, the biggest selling female artist ever,’” Robert said with a laugh. “And for some reason, I decided to get into an argument with her about it.”

“How did that happen?” the host asked. “2 o’clock in the morning somewhere?”

“Yeah,” Robert said with a shy smile. “[I remember] waking up and really, really regretting every word I said!”

Beyond talk of fights with his fellow Brits, RPatz dished about the upcoming final chapter of “The Twilight Saga” and said he’s not worried about always being thought of as Edward Cullen, but rather more frightened by the idea that he may fade into obscurity following the success of the five-film franchise.

“I’m just worried about people being like, ‘What happened to that guy?’” Robert said of his fears about the future. “Also, you wanna do something at least a little bit worthwhile with the power you’ve been given, through luck, and not just keep trying to extend the same thing for as long as possible.

“I’m not very scared of [‘Twilight’] going away at all,” he added.
