Robert Pattinson Says ‘Breaking Dawn’ Sex Scenes Are ‘Incredible’; ‘Bel Ami’ Co-Star Dishes On R-Pattz’s Rampant Nudity

It was the excited gasp heard round the world last week, as Twihards were treated to leaked screen shots of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart filming their passionate vampire sex scene for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” – and R-Pattz himself has admitted the scene will be powerfully seductive.

“It’s kind of incredible,” Robert told MTV in a recent interview of the sparkly skin-on-skin romp. “I saw a prelim of it. [Director Bill Condon] has really, really good ideas for it.”

Filming the love scene required creativity from the “Twilight” team, as the highly anticipated encounter must satisfy the audience’s preconceived expectations (from Stephenie Meyer’s book), yet stay non-descript enough to maintain a PG-13 rating.

“We had some really interesting ideas about it,” Robert said. “It’s kind of interesting, as well, having to do it in the context of PG-13.

“You can’t do blatant,” he added, laughing. “That’s all been done in other stuff anyway, like saying, ‘You just do it really, really fast!’”

In related news, the 24-year-old Brit — who told MTV earlier this year that his upcoming drama, “Bel Ami,” would feature a lot of his “crack” — will apparently be showing a bit more than just his bare backside, according to his “Bel Ami” co-star, Natalia Tena.

“There is a lot of everything in that,” Natalia told MTV of R-Pattz’s body at the DVD release party of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” on Monday. “But the thing is, I knew him before all the ‘Twilight’ stuff. We used to hang out for a bit, so it was a bit weird [during filming]. I was like, ‘All right, mate, come on, let’s do it! It will be fun!’”

Despite the “weirdness,” Tena — whom fans recognize from her role as Nymphadora Tonks in the “Harry Potter” franchise — says fans should expect to see a whole new depth to Robert’s acting in the upcoming film, which also co-stars Uma Thurman and Christina Ricci.

”[Robert] is not nice at all in this [film],” she said. “Which is great, because he’s going to break away from that [teen heartthrob] thing and show that he can play those roles, which is so important as an actor to not stay on that same path.”

“The Twlight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” is slated for theatrical release on November 18, 2011, while a release date for “Bel Ami” has yet to be set.
