Robin Thicke: ‘I’m Trying To Get My Girl Back’

Robin Thicke wants Paula Patton back!

After announcing their split earlier this week, the 36-year-old singer began his concert at the Patriot Center in Virginia on Thursday night with a candid chat with the crowd about his relationship woes.

“For those of you who don’t know, my wife and I got separated a few days ago,” he told his fans. “But I want everybody here to know that I’m trying to get my girl back.”

The crowd erupted with cheers following the “Blurred Lines” singer’s declaration.

“She said, ‘You should go out there and tell them the truth. … You should tell them that you tried to get me back,’” he continued, with a laugh. “She’s a good woman”

Adding, “It’s hard to say in front of everybody.”

He then performed the song, “Lost Without U,” which he dedicated to Paula.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, Robin and Paula split after nearly nine years of marriage on Monday.

“We will always love each other and be best friends, however, we have mutually decided to separate at this time,” Paula’s rep said in a statement on behalf of the couple, to Access on Monday.

Robin, 36, and Paula, 38, who were married on June 11, 2005, have one son together, Julian Fuego, who was born April 2010.
