The Force Is Not Strong With Benedict: Despite rampant online reports (and the hopes and dreams of probably every Comic-Con attendee), a rep for Benedict Cumberbatch shut down reports that the actor will be starring in “Star Wars: Episode VII.” “There is no truth to the rumor Benedict has been cast in ‘Star Wars,’” a rep for the 37-year-old actor told the New York Daily News. “I think the rumors are circling because JJ and Benedict have just recently had a wonderful time working together on ‘Star Trek.’”
