Please Return To Your Seats!: Chris Brown was headed to New York for the 2013 The Costume Institute Gala when his plane was reportedly forced to make an emergency landing. According to TMZ, the Gulfstream 3 jet he took off in from the Burbank airport turned around after the cockpit became filled with smoke. The mile-high scare happened seven minutes into the flight. “It was A LOT of smoke … everywhere,” a source said. Though the passengers were scared, the pilot reportedly stayed calm and landed the plane with ease. The singer was not deterred by his flight problems and hopped on another private jet to make it to the event.

Bynes Shrine: Amanda Bynes is making headlines for her recent antics in New York City, but locals appear to be OK with it – in fact, some are more than OK with it! A shrine has been created to honor the retired actress/avid Twitter user in the East Village, The Gloss reported. The shrine includes photos of Amanda, flowers and also candles (with her face Photoshopped onto the Virgin Mary).
