PITT TACKLES TV: Brad Pitt is marking his first foray into episodic television as executive producer of “4 oz.,” a new show from “Nip/Tuck” creator Ryan Murphy. VARIETY reports that FX has greenlit the pilot for the edgy drama, which is reportedly about the metamorphosis of a gynecologist who decides to undergo a sex change.

COMING OF AGE: “Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere told David Letterman Monday night about the milestone of turning 18 this week. “I think the only things I can do is buy cigarettes, porn, and if I get in trouble with the law, I’m kinda screwed,” she joked. But it was no joke when she registered to vote yesterday, using the Declare Yourself campaign’s online registration process. She is the nonpartisan campaign’s official spokesperson.

DUPRI DEBUNKS: Music producer Jermaine Dupri has denied a National Enquirer report that he and longtime girlfriend Janet Jackson were secretly wed. “When Janet and I get married, everybody will know,” he reportedly told USMAGAZINE.COM. “It’s not something I want to keep a secret. I’m going to promote it like a party!”

RETURN TO DUTY: “E.R.” may bring back former cast members for what could be its final season, TV GUIDE reports. Noah Wyle is already signed for multiple episodes, and they’ve also talked to Gloria Reuben and Julianna Margulies about guest-starring, exec. producer David Zabel reportedly said. As for Clooney? “I hear George needs the work,” Zabel joked.

BOURNE’S BELLY: Matt Damon spoke to the U.K.‘s Sunday Express about having less time to work out now that he’s the father of a one-year-old, PEOPLE reports. “Towards the end of filming [‘The Bourne Ultimatum’] they had to shoot around my belly,” he reportedly joked. “If you pay close attention you’ll see the zipper on my jacket creeping up and up.”
