Jonas Brothers Want Baz Luhrmann: “Australia” might not have been the blockbuster he hoped for, but is director Baz Luhrmann’s next job going to be with a Disney teen super group? Well, if the Jonas Brothers get their way, it just might be. Joe Jonas, who appeared in Baz’s 2003 Broadway production of “La Boheme,” has asked the director to work with them on a video. “We tried to reach out to him,” Joe told Entertainment Weekly. “I think eventually we’ll connect with him. “90210” Vamp To Play Vampire In “New Moon”?: In “Twilight” casting news that is sure to thrill the Twi-hards, “90210’s” AnnaLynne McCord is being considered for the small character Heidi in “New Moon,” according to E! Online’s Marc Malkin. Though just a minor character, AnnaLynne would play someone who lures humans to other vampires waiting to feast on them. In the book, Bella refers to Heidi as having “exceptional, unforgettable” beauty. “It’s not a big part,” a source told Malkin. “Heidi would be more like a cameo.”
A Birth On Grammy Stage?: In what would quite a Grammy moment to remember, Rapper M.I.A. is scheduled to perform at the Grammy Awards this Sunday – the same day she is due to give birth! “They say that you’re often late the first time, so I’m planning to go,” the rapping mom-to-be told USA Today. “We’ll see. People are trying to get me to relax and focus on the baby. It’s like being in parallel universes.” Let’s hope she stays home or doesn’t go into labor on stage… talk about not being an act you want to follow!
