ROLL CALL: JT Calls Britney A ‘Wannabe’ & Lindsay Lohan’s Leeches?

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenaningans

Justin Takes A Few Digs At Brit: Justin Timberlake took a few swipes at Britney Spears while he inducted Madonna into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony on Monday, Us Magazine reports. “She has still found time to kiss someone I may or may not have publicly kissed myself while I was in the audience,” Timberlake said of Madonna. “Of course, you know I was talking about Sean Penn.” He followed that zinger with, “The world has always been full of Madonna wannabes and I might have even dated a couple.” Ouch!

Cameron’s Night Out: Speaking of Justin’s ex-girlfriends, Cameron Diaz was spotted dancing the night away at the West Hollywood hotspot Villa, with a group of friends, People reports. Fellow Villa patrons told the mag Cameron’s pals even grabbed the actress by the waist lifting her into the air as they danced. Didn’t we see that same move in Justin’s last video?

Lindsay’s Leeches?: Just when it appeared Lindsay Lohan was turning her life around, Page Six reports the actress’ close friends are worried about her spending too much time with Courtenay Semel and Jason Davis. “They are leeches,” the source told the newspaper. “And they are trying to drag Lindsay down and use her for her fame.” Semel is the daughter of former Yahoo CEO Terry Semel (& Lindsay’s reported now ex-roommate) and Jason is the son oil heir Marvin Davis.

Benji’s Bling For Paris: Just a day after we reported Paris was rocking a jewel-crusted “BM” ring, People caught Benji Madden rocking his own version of jewelry-love for Paris. The Good Charlotte guy was spotted wearing a “PH” ring on his middle finger. After all…the couple that blings together stays together!

American Offspring: As “American Idol” works it way through the millions of amateur singers looking to be the next great pop superstar, a new show, “Rock the Cradle,” is hoping to find the next great singer a little closer to the celebrity spotlight, People reports. The new reality competition will pit the children of famous musicians against one another in weekly singing competitions. The cast includes:

Jesse Money, daughter of Eddie Money
Jesse Blaze Snider, son of Dee Snider (“Twisted Sister”)
Lara Johnston, daughter of Tom Johnston of the Doobie Brothers
A’keiba Burrell-Hammer, M.C. Hammer’s daughter
Landon Brown, son of Bobby Brown
Lil Al B. Sure, R&B singer Al B. Sure’s son
Crosby Loggins, Kenny Loggins’ son
Chloe Rose Lattanzi, Olivia Newton-John’s daughter
Lucy Walsh daughter of the Eagles‘ Joe Walsh

We’re putting our money on Lil Al B. Sure, but mostly because we just love that name!
