Britney’s Manager Squashes Suicide Note Rumors: In what we hope is a positive sign for Britney Spears, her manager, Sam Lutfi, is denying the singer left a suicide note before being rushed to the hospital, reports PageSix. “Absolutely, 100% NOT true,” Sam says of the reported rumors. We’re pulling for you Britney!

Secret Agent Lindsay: Lindsay Lohan has debuted a new darker look. The actress was spotted yesterday with a new brunette look. Contrary to online reports, “Lindsay was in the wig for a role” in an upcoming film audition, a source close to Lindsay tells Access exclusively. Let’s hope she gets the role!

John Mayer Defends Jessica: John may be Jessica’s ex-boyfriend but he’s coming to her defense on his blog. The singer plucked away at the keyboard urging Dallas football fans not to blame Jessica for Tony Romo’s recent troubles on the field. “All witty barbs, blogs, and fashion policing aside, that girl loves Texas more than you know,” John writes. “It’s one of her most defining traits as a person. So please don’t try and take that away from her. (You probably wouldn’t be able to, but it’s less work for all involved.) “And if I’m out of line in having written it, too bad. I can spare a Wednesday’s worth of bad press if it means sticking up for a good soul.” We’d call this good press!

Casey Affleck & Wife Welcome Second Child: Casey and wife, Summer Phoenix, added another bundle of joy to their family on Tuesday, Us Magazine reports. The couple had a boy. No word on the name, but judging from their other child’s name, Indiana August, we’re guessing it’s going to stick to the trend of creative and original celebrity baby names.

‘Juno’ Star Skates!: Ellen Page, star of “Juno,” is set to play a Texas girl who is tired of beauty pageants and winds up joining a female roller derby team, in Drew Barrymore’s directorial debut, “Whip It!” Variety reports. “I really admire how Drew constantly challenges herself as an artist. She’s proven herself as an actress and a producer, and I have no doubt she’ll bring great vision and creativity to the director’s chair. I can’t wait to kick ass on wheels!” says Page.
