ROLL CALL: Madonna Forgives Elton John With Not-So Subtle Jab

Your Daily Dispatch of Celebrity Shenanigans

The Diva War Wages On!: Madonna and Elton John, round two! After dubbing Madonna a “fairground stripper,” Elton John is now on the receiving end of some shade (wrapped in an apology) from the fair’s most successful dancer for hire. Madonna addressed Elton’s recent criticisms at a concert in Nice, France before singing her Golden Globe-winning song “Masterpiece” this week, saying she’s forgive him. But Madonna fans might think her apology isn’t exactly an olive branch. “I know he’s a big fan of [’ Masterpiece’]. And I know he’s a big fan of mine. And you know? I forgive him. Gotta start somewhere,” she told the crowd, about the song that beat out Elton’s “Hello Hello” for Best Original Song at this year’s Globes in January. Check out the shade from Nice, HERE!

Speaking Of Divas: Looks like Kim Kardashian is trying out Halloween costumes early! (or apparently a shoot for director Hype Williams) Check out Kim serving up Diana Ross realness, HERE!

Shouldn’t They Look A Little Happier?: Musician Rufus Wainwright got married to his longtime partner, Jorn Weisbrodt, on Thursday – but Roll Call couldn’t help but notice how strangely unhappy their photo appears?! (We’re pretty sure those ceramic bunnies at their feet are more excited!)

Shouldn’t He Look A Little Less Happy?: Dear Rupert Sanders, we’re not sure why you’re exuding this much happiness considering everything that has been written about you this summer, but we appreciate you grinning and bearing it. XOXO, Roll Call.
